NOTICE AS OF OCTOBER 1st 2022

Our business has come to a difficult decision...

We are unable to accept new clients with larger sized breeds of dogs with longer or double coats. Such as, standard Poodles, Doodles x's, Samoyeds, Huskies, Golden Retrievers, long haired shepherds and similar.

We will still accept larger breeds with shorter hair, no more than 100lbs, such as Australian Shepherds, Rottweilers, Labs, and the like.

Also, as stated before, still NO CAT services are availible.

Thank you for understanding,

Tender Pawz Pet Grooming

STARTING JANUARY 6th, 2022 WE HAVE SOME UPDATES TO OUR POLICY! PLEASE READ!

We recommend that any puppies should come in around 3-4 months of age for their 1st groom. Require their 3rd set of shots.

1.) We will be no longer be taking new clients who's dogs require sedatives for a groom.

2.) Dog's who have behavioral issues, such as constantly biting through the groom and have to be muzzled or need extra groomers, will be charged an automatic Biter/Difficulty Fee.

But, if we feel we cannot gain control of your dog during the grooming, we will stop and ask owner to come pick up their pet. These types of grooms have taken their toll on us and need extra attention & training at home.

3.) Please remember if you need to cancel an appointment, give us 24 hours notice. We send reminders and clients have pre-booked schedules. Things happen, which we understand but a no-show charge will be added to the next appointment in some cases.

4.) We will have some price changes, especially with the standard sized breed dogs. These are a lot of work and have become physically difficult for us to do and sometimes require two groomers and more time.
We recommend that high maintenance grooming dogs go on a discounted pre-booked monthly appointment in order to maintain a healthy coat. Which hopefully will be an easier groom, which can decrease extra dematting charges.
We will no longer spend a lot of extra time dematting and put your pet through stress. This is the responsibility of the owner to keep matting under control, not the groomer. Groomer & Owner need to work together and be a team. If it's in the best interest of your dog, we will shave them. It's just hair and it will grow back.

5.) We no longer provide cat grooming and cat services of any kind. Sorry for the inconvenience.
